Most bollards typically depend upon a deep, embedded foundation for their strength. This deep foundation sometimes can limit the areas they can be installed. Shallow mount foundations overcome depth restrictions by expanding the base's width and length. This new configuration allows K-rated fixed security bollards to be deployed in a wider variety of areas such as subways, city streets, or underground utilities.
The "Sidewalk Sentry" was designed for duty in areas with limited depth and the need for occasional vehicular access. Optional handles make removal easier.
These bollards are often paired with K4 embedded shallow mount bollards for a more econimical perimeter defense.
Choose from a myriad of powder coat colors which comes standard for all carbon steel bollards. We also offer stainless steel bollard covers for different architectural finishes.
